Principle and Application of Laser Ranging Module
The principle of the laser ranging module is based on measuring the time it takes for a laser pulse to reach an object and return to the sensor. The specific process is as follows: Emits Laser Pulses : The laser ranging module emits short pulses of laser light at the target object, usually using a semiconductor laser (such as a laser diode) to emit narrow coherent light. Time-of-Flight Measurement : The laser pulse passes through the air and reaches the target object, when it hits the surface of the object, the laser pulse is reflected back to the module. Receive Reflected Pulse : The module has a built-in photodetector or receiver to detect the reflected laser pulse and convert it into an electrical signal. Time Measurement : Precise measurement of the time from emission to return of laser pulses by high-speed electronic circuits. Distance Calculation : Using the speed of light (about 299,792 km/s in a vacuum) multipli...
